PERSONALITY:
Deliah tends to jump to conclusions very fast. It's a big problem for her, and she wishes she didn't do it. For example, if she dating a boy, and she sees him hanging out with her best friend, she starts to think he is cheating. But, in reality, the two where studying or something of that sort together, out of friendship. The girl likes to just chill out. Deliah is very mellow. She thinks it helps stress go down. She also thinks it helps the drama meter drop. A perfect day for her, after dance practice that is, would be to just sit up in her dorm, in her favorite bean bag chair, with a good book, or talking with her room mates. She also likes to meditate. Her bed side table has a candle, in the same holder as when she was 13, and first started believing in meditation. She claims it soothes her.
She has different views on most things than most other people. For one, she couldn't give two hoots on politics. Why? Because it starts fights. Fights aren't her thing. Another weird thing about her, is that she worships both God and Buddha. This is because she thinks celebrating more than one custom will make her seem more up lifting. Plus, she is strong Catholic, but Buddhism helps center her. She could never pick between the two. Deliah is very, very, clumsy depsite her dance backround. This makes her very danger prone, as she tends to lose her footing in the worst of time, such as crossing the street for example. She walks in the road, she falls, she gets hit by a car. She tends to screw things up. Like, when the rarity occurs that she gets date, for example. She wishes she was graceful, but thinks it will never happen.
Deliah is quiet, and shy around people she doesn't know very well. She tends to be drawn back, and not talk often, unless she really must. Above all, she hates talking in front of people, or giving speeches. Just, the whole idea of being infront of people, and being herself scares her. She can go and be someone else in a play, no problem, but being herself is a hard feet. Deliah tends to be a pushover, and will do basically anything to get on someone good side. Of course, she isn't a suck up, she just hates people not liking her. Not that shes a scary, everyone loves kind of person, just the thought of someing *gulp* hating her is a scary thought. She has had it happen to her before. Arg, she hates the thought.
PLACE OF BIRTH: atalanta, georgia. DATE OF BIRTH: june third 1991 FINANCIAL STATUS: just making it by FATHER: issac russel MOTHER: elisha russel SIBLINGS: only child
HISTORY:
It was a freezing cold day in December when Elisha Russel realized it was time. That time being the time she was going to give birth to the twins she had been carrying for only a mere six months. This couldn't be right, she thought, it had only been six months, and she was going to labor? The babies would only have a slim chance if they where born now, and from the feeling of it, the labor was coming on to quick for it to be stopped. She called out for her husband Isaac, who helped her to the family's silver minivan, something that had transported six other children around, the addition of two more coming any second now.
Or so Elisha and Isaac could pray.
The middle-aged couple quickly pulled into the hospital, and made there way to the reception desk, where Elisha was slung into a wheel chair, and swiftly brought to a hospital room, the contractions already being only seconds apart. Isaac held his wife's hand as she breathed life into one baby girl, that would grow up to be Waverly. But, sadly, after a mere three minutes of life, the second beautiful baby girl passed away in her mother's arms, she wasn't developed and ready enough when she was born. Waverly was kept on life support for a week and a half, but at long last was able to be sent home with mom and dad, into a new life.
Deliah's years as a young girl went well, shes was a hyper, curious and active little girl, but always with a sort of yearning, something in her life was incomplete. Even though she came into a family well off with money, made friends easily in her kindergarden and early years classes, something didn't feel alright in her life. You see, she wasn't aware that she used to be a twin. Her family had decided that it would be best for the girl if she didn't know until she was at least eleven, as age would heal the wound faster. As the magic age rolled around, her parents decided it was time to tell Waverly about what had happened as a baby. But, as thought, she didn't handle it well. She distanced herself from her family and friends, lacked in sports, and her grades dropped. Everything in her life felt empty and numb. Numb to the fact that she had lost someone that basically her soul in another body, a body built just like her own, was gone before she even began.
Slowly, and ever so surly, she began feel better, and come to realize that it had been the course of life in action, and no matter how much it hurt, she had to see it as a blessing, that she was lucky enough to once be a twin. But, just when she thought she was alright, it all came crashing again. You see, she was in a car accident. While running erands with her mother, the two skidded across some black ice on the high way, just three days before her fourteenth birthday. It was traumatizing, and she was justing waking from a coma on her birthday, but was thankful that she would be alright. After three weeks in Hospital care, she was released. Her mother had only undergone a few minor bumps and scratches, yet she was forever marked with a scar stretching across her mid-torso, from the set belt digging into it. Other than that, she was alright, and was able to return to sports just a few months later.
when deliah turned 19, just recently, she decided it was time to get out. she made her way out to hawaii, got rip roaring drunk, and had to look for a job. it seemed like the only people hiring a girl like her were strip club owners, and being broke, she had to do what she had to do. now she works there, every night except thursday and monday, and hates every second of it. she hates men hitting on her, she hates being forced to sleep around. whatever, it'll get better. she'll be somebody, just you watch.
