NAME: danity janine verbose AGE: eighteen HEIGHT: 5 ft 7 in WEIGHT: underweight EYE COLOR: blue HAIR COLOR: blonde ETHNICITY: scottish LIKES: running in the rain, masks, cocktail dresses, dinners, shakespeare, classical music, concerts, reading, the city, sarcasm DISLIKES: cheap trips, cheap tricks, snoots, people who back talk, lollipops, swimming, water, goths, darkness, natural disasters SECRETS: recovering cancer survivor GRADE AND/OR OCCUPATION: unemployed SEXUAL ORIENTATION: straight PLAY BY PLAY: terese teglgaard
PERSONALITY:
danity is one of the sweetest girls you'll meet. she has her moments, like anyone and does have occasional mood swings, but otherwise she's a complete and utter sweetheart to the bone. she would hurt a fly, but only because some things can easily get on her nerves. she's to the point and blunt, which can lead to some wrong things but otherwise is a good girl overall, rather innocent in her ways, mainly because her past life never left her much time to do anything with herself other than wrap her knowledge around books, writing and designing, which she's become quite fond of over the years. nity is a really rather reasonable kind of girl, she doesn't take crap from anyone of course, but will consider what you're saying and take it into context trying to work things out.
nity has never been known to really fully lash out on anyone, she's really just sat in the background of picture perfect images, she's your door mat when you need her, she's great for times when you just need to rant or one needs someone to cry on or needs to talk something over. nity does best at giving advice, and trying to work through things. she can't stand giving up on a problem, she will, occasionally have her moments and be quite the headstrong girl, which can come as an unexpected surprise to most of those who know her, which she will trickily use in her power once in a while.
since everyone has their faults, danity has hers. she's been known to hold quite a few grudges and can be a bit prejudice and uses sarcasm too often for her own good. when it comes to people's looks, she's horrible. usually she only judges in her own privacy of her mind, but can sometimes - usually by accident, say it to their face. whether it's about what the person is wearing or their hair or even looks, she can slip up quite often and get into a bit of trouble. she also has her mood swings, as mentioned earlier, and can easily go from happy, to hyper to angry during one conversation, since she'll more often than not change her mind on a situation.
PLACE OF BIRTH: chicago, illinois DATE OF BIRTH: august 14th FINANCIAL STATUS: upper class FATHER: drew verbose MOTHER: anita verbose SIBLINGS: kyler verbose
HISTORY:
danity janine verbose was born as the second love child to drew and anita verbose. the pregnancy was accidental, as the two high school sweethearts had only wanted one. anita and drew had birthed kyler when anita was twenty, and drew was twenty five. at the time anita was simply a trophy wife, and drew was just starting his work as a lawyer, quickly going up the ranks as one of the city's best lawyers you could get. he charged more and more as he went along, collecting more and more money from a family that had started off with barely anything. nobody had expected danity to have any mental or physical problems, and definitely not cancer. cancer wasn't something that really went through the family's genes, except from anita's mother. but that was it. and danity got stuck with it.
they didn't find out about the leukemia until danity was eight years old and fainted from an unkown reason at the playground one day with her class. she was rushed to the hospital when the nurse at the private school couldn't help, and a while later when test results came in, eight year old nity was diagnosed with leukemia, cancer of the blood. as she was too young to really know or worry about it, nity was watched over carefully by her mother. she was taken out of school and a private tutor was hired. all nity really understood was that she had problems and required quite a lot of medical attention. at eleven years old, the doctors decided nity had gotten through it.
throughout her younger years, and not seeing anyone due to being stuck at home or in hospitals, kyler, two years older, became her best friend. he brought her home little pieces of candy, except lollipops because for some reason danity didn't like the thought of sucking on them. he knew her better than anyone else in their family, direct and spread. he could tell their parents what she really liked for magazines or for food. whom her favorite authors were, favorite televisions shows, etc. he was how nity got so into shakespeare and the world back then, which she's since then constantly fantasized about and wondered if chivalry as back then still exists.
danity had a relapse at twelve years old, and was once again under particular medical supervision, more than the last time due to the fact that a relapse could be worse than the start. at twelve, danity really understood what was going on, and it frightened her to no extent. she actually became farther from her brother and kept to herself, refusing to do the school work her tutor set aside for her. she was legit scared about dying and what could happen to her. the cancer never, thankfully, reached a peek, but was consistently there for a few years. at sixteen, after a year of observation and observing a once again healthy danity, the doctors pronounced her cured and free to go off, just to be careful. two years later her parents decided to send her on a surprise trip to hawaii, to be social and maybe figure out something to do in life after all those years of doing nothing aside from the leukemia.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
aaron yawned as he fell off the bed and hit his head on the floor with some impact. groaning, he sat up and rubbed his head. he hadn't just fallen asleep, there was no possible way that could have happened. grabbing the bedside clock he stared at the digits, it was seven pm right now. he had gotten into the dorm room at three pm. maybe he had fallen asleep. and on a friday night of all nights, that really killed. friday afternoons and nights were meant for doing things, not sitting around and even worse sleeping. just as he had been doing right then.
hefting himself off the ground and wobbled a little looking for balance from a funny head rush. aaron stood there for a bit, not really sure what to do. he was rather hungry, since he'd pretty much just skipped his supper for sleeping. but he wasn't starving and he didn't want to make himself full just because he felt the need to eat something, even if he wasn't really that hungry. shaking his head he stood there for a bit longer before grabbing his jacket and buttoning it up, heading out of his dorm room and out of the building, heading somewhere, of which he hadn't quite decided on.
it wasn't like aaron had been really tired or anything, he never even took naps usually, and the entire day he had been exploding with some force of unknown energy. then again maybe that was the problem, he had used up all his energy during the day that he came back and crashed in his bed. that would make sense. partially. if it wasn't for the fact that he never, ever could even take a nap in his entire life, even as a kid. but people changed. even if it sounded cheesy maybe that was the part of him that was changing... being able to take a nap.
aaron brushed hair back from his face and yawned again, rubbing his eyes as he walked along the path that was headed toward the quad. that wasn't a bad place to go when he didn't know where else to go really, usually there was someone he knew there or could do something. like sit under - or in a tree. even if every time he was in a tree he tended to fall out of it for some reason, probably from lack of balance. which oddly had decided aaron didn't need balance in his life.
looking around, he couldn't see anyone, then again it was pretty cold out and the snow on the ground might have been a slight turn off for some people to come here when they could be in their rooms where it was toasty and warm. aaron, though, for some reason was actually not too cold. the cold that he did feel felt rather nice though, it woke him up from his dream-state, or post-nap state or whatever someone wanted to call it. a lot like how aaron was in the morning. he sat down under a nearby tree and took out his cellular going through his contacts wondering if he should call someone and see if they were doing something. even if he was at a loss for what to do right now, at seven pm, which seemed almost to be in the middle of times you saw friends or did something.
there was always the possibility of going to jark's pub where he loved to sneak some good alcohol from, although he had stopped doing that recently due to the fact that alcohol didn't seem to suit him too much. no way did he want to go to club seven right now, he was kind of too out of it for something like that, and wasn't too fond of that place anyway. instead he sat there for a little while longer, zoning out on the white grounds.
