PERSONALITY:

Unlike Robbie, her older brother, Kat wasn't a completely jerk. Sure she could usually hang out with just about anybody she wanted to and if put into groups she would probably be thrown into the popular crowd. Unlike Ava, her younger sister, she wasn't a total sweetheart, and she didn't let people get so close they could hurt her or use her for their own personal gain. At first Kat was slightly socially awkward but the minute she hit middle school her personality blossomed and the somewhat shy girl that she'd been before was long forgotten. She was extremely social, and loved being in large crowds. She was a people person, and it was always helpful when needing a job or something. Katherine never had to try as hard as Robbie did to be good in school, it came a lot more naturally. She didn't try for it but she was usually the best at everything. She often finds yourself restless - and she has a lot of questions about life and she's quite passionate and easily tempted...but has the will power to refrain when she knows she shouldn't do something.

She'se truly an original person. She has amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out, simply because her “can do” attitude gets her plenty of help from others. Success comes rather easily for for her... especially in business and academia. Katherine friendly, charming, and warm. She get along with almost everyone. She doesn't really like the name Katherine because it seems so serious so usually she foes by Kat. She's relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow, but if something seems wrong she's bound to speak up and voice her opinions. She's a light hearted person and generally accepting. She don't get worked up easily. She communicates well, and she connects with other people easily.

HISTORY:

Katherine always remembered the quick paced lifestyle her parents told her about, both john and elyse were straight out of university and happily married when elyse found out she was pregnant. Their first baby, they were so excited when Robbie was born. They were just starting out in their lives, having just bought a house in Charleston and only been out of school for a little while, money was a little hard to come by but they managed happily and steadily their bank account grew with John working hard and Elyse taking care of their son.

It wasn't very long until Elyse fell pregnant again. Robbie was only one when the newest addition to the family was born. Katherine was their first girl and John couldn't have been happier. Elyse was more worried about the Sinclaire's finical state, since babies weren't cheap, and she was out of work, but they managed. Only a year later, when Robbie was two, Elyse found out she was pregnant yet again, and this time it was a girl. Having their third child they both came to an agreement that it was time to stop because money was just getting to be too much of a struggle.

In their household, Ava always looked up to her older siblings. She always wanted to do what Robbie and Katherine were doing, Kat liked being a big sister, getting someone to play dollies with and have makeovers and whatnot. Robbie thought having two little sisters was annoying because they were always dressing his Gi-Joes in barbie clothes and making them look stupid. When the two oldest started school and Ava was stuck at home, although she tried being a stow-away a couple times it proved a failure. Kat always felt bad seeing her so upset as they left to get on the bus for school and she had to stay home with mom or get shipped off to their grandparents house and almost every day after school to make up for the time lost Kat would put together a tea party for the girls.When Ava was able to start school Kat was exstatic and of course, Ava was too. The girls got to learn, play, and eat lunch together like best friends then. Ava always followed robbie and katherine around. Robbie got annoyed with it, and multiple times would push her down in the sand box at recess and tell her to leave him alone, but little Ava was percipient and when Robbie would get a little too rough she'd cry to Kat who'd threaten to beat him up later and always made Ava laugh.

When highschool began, Kat didn't expect any different, Robbie was a completely different guy at school than he was at home. He was your stereotypical jock, he was a jerk to those he didn't like, and always had a girls following him around and doing what he said with the snap of a finger. She just rolled with it, although Ava was shocked. Robbie, for the most part was alright with bot of his sisters and when they got interested in a guy he usually scared them off. Everything was going alright until Kat started crushing on one of Robbie's best friends and he liked her back. Robbie and Kat started to argue a lot and they kept their reasons hidden from Ava, not wanting her to get involved. She met him through Robbie and was really happy when she found he'd be her lab partner in her favorite class, Science. When things ended badly with Kat and the boy, it also ended badly with Robbie. He still loved her, simply because she was his sister, but they stopped talking and at school they pretended as though neither one existed.

Their arguing continued when they both headed to the same school in hawaii. Ava followed simply to be closer to her siblings and Kat was thankful. Starting off in a new place with nothing but a grouchy big brother wouldn't have been fun, but with her best friend it was bound to be a new adventure. Ava had been a little too much into drinking as high school was ending and Kat tried her best to be a good role model and keep her from getting hurt but it didn't help that she too got a little too much in her system from time to time. She eventually decided enough was enough and for college she had to stay focused and put down the bottle for good.
