it really depends on her mood. usually sydney is a polite, respectful, easy going woman, who holds her tongue when she needs too and trys her best to be pleasant to everyone. other days she'll bitch out whoever looks at her funny, have a sailor mouth, and just be the biggest negative nancy. she's confident, and it's often seen at bitchiness. she likes to be right, and gets really competitive, which causes her too loose her cool, and let the bitch in her out. she doesn't go out of her way to be mean. she's pretty laid back and easy going. she's a girl who likes to sit back with a cocktail and just have a good time. she nags a little, but only because she cares. she really doesn't care if people smoke, but if it's someone she loves, she'll nag them until they stop.

she can be jealous, like really jealous. she's had everything she ever could have imagined growing up surrounded by money, and it has made her spoiled. usually she's not to get jealous over something someone has, unless she used to have it - like with boys. if she sees an ex with another girl, no matter how much she hated them, or how dangerous they are, she'll do everything in her power to get them back. she only wants things she can't have anymore.

she's one of those girls that can be either your best friend, or your worst enemy. sydney's pretty loyal and she doesn't tell anyone's secrets. she's devoted to her friends and will pretty much do anything for them. she's not the friendliest person, as in she doesn't go out of her way to make friends, but she'll be nice to anyone when she first meets them, however if you fuck with her or her friends, she'll go pyscho crazy on you. she never learned how to control her temper and when she's angry she tends to pick up the closes object around her and just troughs them at peoples heads.

HISTORY:

if it were up to dennis, he and his gorgeous wife cynthia wouldn't have had children, ever. but cynthia wanted kids, she needed kids, she wanted the vanderbilt name - which she married into, to continue, she wanted grandchildren she could spoil, she wanted to drop thousands on baby clothes and other baby stuff. she didn't care her husband didn't want kids, she was going to have them, and she did. she ended up tricking her husband into it, and nine months after a romantic get away to the bahamas, sydney isabelle vanderbilt came into the world.

soon after giving birth though, cynthia realized she was no way able to be a mother. she would hold sydney and she would freak out. sydney would cry, kick, go insane, and cynthia had no idea what to do. she ended up hiring a full time nanny, and just gave up trying to be a mother, sydney was going to be her only child, she could marry rich or something, cynthia didn't care, all she wanted was for the kid to just stop crying.

well three years later, cynthia gave birth yet again, this time to a beautiful baby boy who was pretty much an angel. he loved to be held and listened to cynthia and was just so pleasant compared to sydney who was at a stage where she like to throw pots and pans down the stairs and run around the vanderbilt mansion screaming bloody murder.

when she was old enough to start school, sydney was shipped off to santa monica for a private boarding school that she would go to until the eight grade. it was an all girls school and pure torture. sydney figured her mom had done it on purpose since the woman hated her. she made friends easily, and caused a little trouble in class, but sydney was one of those kids who the teachers loved because she was funny and some how managed to get a+'s on all her work, even when she was goofing off. when she graduated from hallington academy, her mother sent her off to england, where she attended heathington for her high school years and focused on theater, hoping to make it big in the show bizz world.

well that dream faded quickly. she was home in texas for the summer after she graduated, she was eighteen and completely care free. she would go out with all her friends on road trips because they all hated dallas, or they would go and drink then go skinny dipping in their neighbors pools. she did the stupidest things, and really enjoyed her youth. sydney had gotten into yale for acting but didn't feel the passion for it anymore, and so her mother wouldn't disown her, sydney switched from theater to pre law at yale. well her second year, when she was twenty she ended up sleeping with a t.a. she wasn't kicked out of school, thanks to a generous donation her father made to the university, but she got her shit together. she worked hard and graduated with honors, surprising herself and her family.

she was fresh out of university and ready to go work and make millions, or at least go back to law school. but sydney decided to take a year off, collect her thoughts and travel the world. she was young and stupid, and was in hawaii where she met this cute guy - dallas. he reminded her of home and she knew he was kinda younger but all the margarita's she had had were telling her it didn't matter. they two ended up getting married, and while sydney flipped out at first, she kinda liked the idea of being married. even though the two don't exactly live together or anything.
