that's really all they knew down in the underground fighting clubs of New York. People would fight for many different things. Because it was their life, the way they got the money, a way to enjoy themselves, or because it was how they were brought up. But sometimes, it was because it was how they survived.
New York isn't the pretty, expensive place that everyone has heard about. There were many different sides to this place. The most important known to some, was the underground fighting. The rules are: You fight, you fight until someone is knocked out or someone taps out. There were no limits to how you could fight. You defended yourself anyway you could. Whether it was girl on girl, guy on guy, or even girl on guy. You fought, or you had to deal with everyone in the club. If you won, you won all the money that had been bet on for that fight.
This isn't a place for weaklings. After fights, you could get jumped just leaving the place. This is one of the most dangerous places you could ever walk into. Many have lost their lives fighting in these clubs, and many more will.
This isn't just a game. This is a way of life. Once your in it, you can't get out. Can you handle it?
You want to fight? Fine. Just remember this: You fight for glory and you fight to the death.. but death is never permanent.
