hey there vacationers and locals, looks like its that time of the year when the storms start gathering, but this ones looking pretty brutal, prepare for a big one guys, it looks like a huge tropical storm is headed our way, and we don't know just what will go down if that occurs. so tie down everything you want kept safe, board up those windows, get some extra supplies, because we have no idea how long this is going to last.
we'll update you know shortly just whats going on.

the storm is getting closer, so you better be prepared for whats going to happen when it hits. expect high winds, heavy rain, flying debris, most likely flooding. this isn't going to be a quick and calm little storm, it's going to be huge. make sure your prepared.

oh no! it seems the powers gone out all over this side of the island, and so people are pretty much stranded with no phones, no internet access, and pretty much stuck where they are until the flood waters have cleared. don't expect it to be right away though, sorry guys! what does this mean for you?
- IC will be closed for a certain amount of time, that amount is not yet determined
- we encourage you to plot and thread for the storm and put your characters in fun situations.
- injuries are allowed, labour is fine to occur if your character is pregnant, still ask if you want your character to become pregnant though.

the powers back up, but its a little shaky, lines keep dropping in and out for a few hours at a time, so the internet is back up but be prepared it will go down at random intervals, the water is still thigh high but slowly draining away.
