born and raised in england, twenty years ago, darcy esme washington was named after one of the greatest romantics in literary history - fitzwilliam darcy. fortunately for her, she loved the story growing up, and fell quite in love with the name as she grew older, never once wanting to change it like a large portion of society does today. growing up on a large farmstead in western england let her experience the rural life as she helped around the farm tending the animals, helping out in the gardens and just keeping everything in working order. but the change to the big city when she was fourteen left her thirsting for more, and she quickly grew accustomed to the fast paced lifestyles, the money, the alcohol and the partying.
but most of that changed when she turned seventeen years old and fell pregnant to her boyfriend at that stage. for her abortion wasn't an option and she went through with the pregnancy without any more guesses, but as it progressed and her eighteenth birthday approached she decided she had little choices in keeping the child and gave her up for adoption after he was born, she named him seth a gorgeous blonde haired blue eyed sweet heart. the only time she got to actually see him was just before she handed the child away to the family that was to care for him, and she hadn't heard any more about the child.
deciding she needed a break from her hectic lifestyle in london she took a long trip to hawaii, enrolled in college and left her old life behind, with thoughts of her son continually haunting her, a large part of her wished she could have kept her, but at that point in time she couldn't afford to.
alright now getting to plots, i'd love basically anything for her, her child will come back into the picture, and she'll be a large part of darcys life, but no one will know about her until the time that seth arrives on her doorstep. so with that said i'm up for everything, and everything is needed - a final, friends, lovers, enemies, best friends, haters, annoyances. basically just everything.

oliver and darcy
oliver was born and raised in england until the age of seventeen. he grew up ambitious, kind, caring, and stubborn. he plans to be the next donald trump and won't let anyone get in the way - except maybe a love. he is a hopeless flirt and romantic. he isn't a womanizer by any means though. i'd love for oliver to be darcy's future if not her final. the two are both english, sophomores, ambitious, and not afraid of going after what they want. i'd love for them to start a relationship, for him to find out about ellie, and freak out because he does that. he can have a bit of a temperature and be moody at times. he would probably just be like wtf and walk out. he would be depressed without darcy though and come back within a matter of days or weeks. eventually he'd be good to ellie as well.
if for some reason you already have a future / final set up - the two could just be friends from england. maybe their parents knew each other through some crazy business or went to school together at one point. either way - they could be friends from their homeland which makes them connect on the island. they could talk about all the things they miss.

what i love more than the idea of them being finals, is the fact that tom sturridge is the pb, i adore the guy so much. so im obviously very eager to see how these two connect. i love the idea of him being her final, obviously i've got nothing set up yet, i dont think i had anything huge planned for her when i made her. i'd love to thread, and see how they connect, but i dont think there will be to many issues there if they're both quite similar. i especially like the idea of him getting freaked out when ellie comes into the picture, and that yeah it'd take him time to get used to it, especially as she hadn't told him about it - he'd probably feel more betrayed than anything. i do have an open IM thread if you'd like them to meet that way, get them conversing atleast.
