ambitious but timid. attention starved but shy. shiloh's personality can always be described in contradictory terms. she wants things, but never has enough bravery or enthusiasm to get what she wants. shiloh is the owner of many a bad thought, the inventor of many a dirty jokes, but the cautious person who rarely shares these thoughts. she's one to consider the consequences of her actions, which is probably why she avoids drugs, alcohol, and sex. those things can lead to the most severe consequences.

people who know her siblings and see shiloh, expect her to be wild and stoned and brilliantly entertaining. they never expect that shiloh had her period of drug experimentation in her freshman year of college and absolutely hated each and every drug she tried. they don't expect that she rarely drinks and when she does so, she never gets wasted because she quite likes having control of herself. they don't expect her to be a virgin, because she's waiting for that silly thing people call love. they don't expect her to be so clean cut.

HISTORY:

from their birth, addaline and petrov were meant to find one another, meant to be together, meant to do everything together. Not due to fate, due to expectation. what's a better way than to set jewish children up than to send the lot of them to a school meant just for jewish children? there's nothing better, of course! not for jewish parents hungry for jewish grandchildren. that was how addaline and petrov met, through school. they started out as friends, but their families lead them to something more and that something more lead to children. quite a few, actually.

childhood can be a little hectic when your one of six children and ever more hectic when two more children follow you and your twin. shiloh was always hungry for attention, but always too afraid to get it. seeing as it would involve a tantrum or any form of strain, shiloh didn't bother. she accepted the amount of attention she was given and dealt with the chaotic bunch that was her family. her relief came in the form of a christmas present one year. her brother as given his first guitar, and shiloh given her first keyboard.

she taught herself to play by watching the red under lights of the keys show her where to place her thin fingers. eventually, she could read music well enough to write her own, to make her own music. she moved up from the keyboard to synthesizer shortly after her twin was shipped off to a boarding school for his unruly behavior. shiloh and noah had never been that set of twins who felt what the other felt, and felt empty without them, but shiloh ached for noah'd wild behavior and his dependability. mostly, she missed his music and that way she could hide her own music in the shadow of his. without him gone, she began to grow and branch out musically, even booking a few gigs. mostly, though, people knew her as a geller, which lead them to noah's sister.

though she branched out and she felt music was the most important thing in her life, shiloh focused mostly on her studies, which gained her a scholarship to college, which she now attends in hawaii. she thought she would feel homesick and lonesome here without her family, but wouldn't you know it? some ended up here, too.
