PERSONALITY:
Sweet. Charlie is a very sweet girl. If she see’s someone fall she will run over to help her. She will never leave anyone out of things, she tries hard to include everyone in everything. She works at soup kitchens and homeless shelters as often as she can, and she began running a lot of the events some of the homeless shelters hold. At most homeless shelters people go to you still have to pay a very small amount of money, Charlie pays for all the large families so they can use there money for other things they need. If that isn’t ‘sweet’, then what is?
Exciting. Charlie doesn’t like to be in center of attention, she tries not to be, but as the ‘new’ kid it’s hard not to be. People always look at her in situations to see how she reacts to them. She tries to be the kind of person who excites things. When something is boring, she tries to unbore it. Charlie isn’t loud, but she isn’t very quiet either. She tries to be friends with everyone.
Loyal, but doesn’t trust others. Charlie has been lied to so many times in her life she just as trouble getting close to people. When her mother told her she would never leave her, she left. When her mother said they would never live on the streets again, they were in a shelter the next month. When her father came and said he would help, he never did. Charlie is very truth worthy, she doesn’t lie unless it is necessary and she keeps secrets, unless it has to do with someone getting hurt.
Flirty While Charlie can be shy, she can also be very out going. Out going with guys means flirtatious. She will flirt non stop if the guy is single. Charlie is good with guys, usually she can have them at the palm of her hand if she wants too. She just never get down to the level. Carlie's mature in that way. She would never want to make someone do something they didn't want to do, she knows how that feels.
PLACE OF BIRTH: Somewhere in Hawaii DATE OF BIRTH: March 3rd, 1993 FINANCIAL STATUS: Her grandparents are very rich, which makes her rich. FATHER: David Mikovich. (33)Charlie’s father and he hasn’t been in her life since ever. Charlie has never once seen her father. He left when she was just born. MOTHER: Stephanie Anna Mikovich. (33) At 17 Stephanie gave birth to Charlie. After being kicked out of her parents house and having no were to go, Stephanie and Charlie lived on the streets while Stephanie was a drug addict. Charlie hatted her mother for that SIBLINGS: N/A
HISTORY:
December 1989. Stephanie slowly walked into her house pulling her oversize sweater lower, hoping her stomach didn’t seem to bulge out. “Stephanie? Is that you?” Her mother cried. “Yes mama, it is,” she said sighing. She didn’t want to be heard. Stephanie heard foot steps walking her way, she once again tugged on her sweater. “Take of your sweater,” her mother said. Stephanie turned around and looked at her mother. “What? Why,” “Because your pregnant, am I right?” Stephanie got pale and didn’t talk for a few seconds, “How, how did you find out?” “David’s parents called. Go back your bags and find some where else to stay, you are no longer welcome here.” She turned around and began walking away. “Wait, but mama!” Stephanie’s mother didn’t look or say anything back. The 14 year old fell to the ground pouring her eyes out. It happened so fast she just wanted to wake up from the nightmare that seemed to be going on. She got up and then did what she was told crying the whole time.
March 1989. David wasn’t around to take Stephanie to the hospital, David was never around. Stephanie lived alone in a small apartment that cost only 300$ a month. And most of the time, she couldn’t even come up with that. No one wanted to hire a 14 year old girl who was pregnant. While Stephanie was in labor, she had to walk to the hospital. No one stopped to help her as she screamed in pain on the side walk. “Help me, please,” she yelled walking into the emergency room, “help me,” she cried again. Nurses ran to her side. 3 and a half hours late she gave birth to a surprisingly healthy baby girl.
Febuary 1993. It was Charlie’s first time living out in the cold, it was the first time her mother couldn’t pay the rent. Even though it was freezing outside, her landlord didn’t care. Stephanie had been spending all her money on drugs and just didn’t pay the rent. “Mommy, I’m cold,” Charlie said with a tear going down her eye. “So am,” Stephanie said harshly back. She was so angry, not at Charlie, but she took it out on her anyway. “Mommy! I want to go home,” Charlie yelled. “So do I, now shut up,”Stephanie said looking evilly at her daughter.
September 2003. “You’re never going to find them Charlie,” Stephanie said to her daughter. “All I can do is try, I rather run away then be here with you.” Charlie said looking evilly at her mother. “Don’t talk to be like that,” she said right back at her daughter. “Stephanie, do you realize I’m the age you were when you had me. Everyone knows it to, and they all expect me to follow in your foot steps. But that's were they’re wrong, I’m walking right out of them,” Charlie said. “I don’t care if there David’s parents, there not him. They will love me, I know it!” Charlie ran to the bed room and slammed the door shut. Little did she know, she was right that's all her grandparents would do, is love her. Love her for the rest of her life.
December 2005. “I think you’re my grandparents,” Charlie said standing out the door of her father’s parents house. The two adults in there mid 50’s just looked at each other confused. “I’m sorry sweaty, I think you’re mistaken.” The women said with a strong Russian accent, she began closing the door. “Wait! Isn’t David Mikovich your son?”Charlie asked stopping the door. The women paused and opened the door. “We haven’t seen David in over 10 years. Who are you?” She said. “My name is Charlotte Mikovich,” she began, “and I am your granddaughter , believe it or not.” She looked up at the women and then at the man. November 2007 Charlie stood with her locker open. She stared at Mikey, her crush since her sophomore year. It wasn't like he knew who she was though. Charlie stared for a few seconds longer and then met his eyes. She quickly looked away and blushed. Charlie pretended she was looking for something in her locker. When she looked to the side again she noticed he was coming toward her. Or was he just going to walk past her? Charlie sighed and closed her locker and then began walking to her next period. "Hey Charlie wait up," Mikey called. Charlie turned around. "Hey," she said with a questioned look on her face. She couldn't believe he was talking to her, and he knew her name. Well everyone knew her so that wasn't to surprising. "What's up?" She asked playing it cool. "Well tonight it my annual party, which you know. And I was wondering if you wanted to be my date," he said with boyish grin and shrugged. Inside Charlie was screaming and jumping off walls. She smiled at him, "sure, I'd love too," she replied. "Cool, do you just want to come over after school and help me set up?" He asked. Charlie nodded.
7 hours later.
The music was blasting and Charlie was sitting on the couch with a beer in her hand. Alone. She sipped the drink slowly and sighed. The afternoon was perfect. Mikey and Charlie had so much fun together. They had danced a couple of times together, but it seemed like he had ditched her about an hour ago. But Charlie wasn't surprised, it was his party and he had a lot of people to talk too. She sighed again and stood up, walked a few feet into the kitchen and refilled her cup with beer. "Hey," Charlie heard from behind her. Mikey grabbed her hand and turned her around. "Hey," Charlie replied with a smile. "You want to go to a quieter room upstairs? It's so loud down here," he told her. Charlie's smile got smaller. She wasn't sure if being along with him while he was drunk was a good thing. "Why don't we just dance?" She asked him putting her arms around him. Mikey frowned and took them off of him. "No it's fine whatever," he said. He turned around and Charlie quickly grabbed his hand. "Wait," she told him. Charlie pulled him close to her, "we can do whatever you want," she said. She gave him a kiss and led him to the stairs with the beer in her other hand.
10 minutes later. "Mikey stop," Charlie said with a laugh. He was unbuttoning her shirt. Mikey didn't listen. Charlie stared at his shirtless abs wondering what was happening. The room was spinning and she couldn't stop laughing. "Mikey get off me!" She giggled. Mikey ignored her. Charlie's smile quickly went away when her eyes met her drink. "You drugged me," she quickly said sitting up and pulling away from him. She hugged her self. "Woah, there are too of you," she said. "Shut up, and yea I didn't drug you, you little annoying bitch," Mikey said pushing her back down on the bed. He began taking of his pants. "No. I'm not having sex with you. No. No. No." She said. It was to late and Mikey was on top of her while she struggled. "Stop!!" She screamed. "I told you to shut up, you're not going to remember a think tomorrow anyway," he smirked. That's were he was wrong, Charlie would remember. Everything. Only she would pretend like she didn't.
For over 15 years Charlotte lived off and on the streets of Hawaii. She only met her dad once and then he left about 4 months later only leaving 1000$ and a note. She hid the money from her mother and paid for food and some clothing for herself. When her mother asked her where and how she got it, she would say she stole it. Her mother was proud of her. No mother should ever be proud of something like that.
When Charlotte turned 13 she devoted her life into finding her grandparents. Only 2 years later she discovered they only lived 3 hours away. One day when she was supposed to be going to school she took all her clothes (which wasn’t much), what was left of her father money, and Charlie took a bus all the way to her grandparents house were she was happily taken in after they realized she really was there grand daughter. Her grandparents were very young, and very wealthy. The first thing her grandmother did was throw away all her clothes and take her shopping.
Charlotte never new was it was like to cry because she was happy until that day, and since then she does what ever she can to make other people feel the same way she did.
3 years after finding her grandparents Charlie had know idea she would be rapped. She wasn't supposed to remember Mikey told her. But she did, she remember everything. At first when she woke up the next morning in her bed she didn't remember a thing. Or the next day. But when Monday came and she walked into the school and saw Mikey. Everything came back to her. He stared at her and she stared back. Charlie had quickly run of the school and played sick for the rest of the week.
Now 2 years after she isn't finally accepting what happened even though she has never told anyone.
