 Académie De Marseille is prestigious high school for teenagers. Although mostly populated with children from France and from Europe the school hosts select students from other countries. The school is large, and most children who attend have some from of money in the family, however Académie de Marseille also has several scholarship programs for teenagers who excel in athletics, art, or school.
Even though the school is mostly the rich or gifted don't think it's only for the good. Over the past few years there have been some disciplinary problems for the children. Yes as in most high schools there are the kids who do drugs, the kids to disobey every rule, but this goes a little further. Everyone in the school is in one of the five majors: science, mathematics, english, theater, or art. The "artsy" students (theater and art) don't really like that there is even a science and mathematics program. The "academic" students (science and mathematics) think the artsy students are a waste of time. Thus violence ensues. The English majors have managed to stay out of it, though.
That all aside the students here uphold the image of the Academy very well. They all attend class, and follow the rules, or at least don't get caught. They all seem to get into the same teenage problems as everywhere else in the world, drugs, lies, sex, it's here. They calming setting of the sea and surrounding mountains doesn't seem to calm these teens as much as it should.
